A few sneak peek pics of this fire pit project as it goes along and slowly winding down.
We’re almost on the downhill side of this project. Next up, we’re bringing in another 1.5 tons of 1/4” white creek stone. Another 18 tons of backfill dirt to taper and tame the slopes around the fire pit area to give it a gradual and natural sloping finish, and then mulch will be brought in to spread around the outer perimeters for the flower/shrub garden.
The tarp dividing the dirt and stone will aid in the dirt mixing in with the stone and also act as a w**d barrier. Once the remaining stone goes down the tarp will be trimmed just under the stone to conceal it.
