Today is Small Business Saturday! Shop small and support local business instead of the big box stores. If you’re in the Brunswick area, stop by Handmade Haven and check out our display in addition to all the other local handmade goods from other small businesses. We have some wooden earrings and cutting boards for sale which would make a great holiday gift for someone.

Got some custom earring backers, feeling official 😏 These earrings are made from Chechen wood. We have a few pairs available for sale at if you’re interested and soon will be available online for holiday shopping.

We have some hardwood items, such as earrings made from Purple Heart, Chechen, and Brazilian Cherry for sale ...and other hardwood items like cutting boards (made with Walnut and Maple). Fresh off the printer; board care cards with Dos and Don’ts on the back. These will be included with our board purchases. Also, we put our throwback alternate logo on them. We are currently finishing up the website and will also have some exciting news to share soon!

Working on some new prototype serving boards. Using Black Walnut and Peruvian Walnut. Finished with Cutting Board Oil. One is solid wood the other 3 pieces glued up. Handles are routed into the sides. It’s funny how complex designing such a seemingly simple product can be and getting it just right… over and over and over...
