NEOHwood LLC

NEOHwood LLC NEOHwood is a Cleveland based, urban sawmill, and custom furniture manufacturer. NEOHwood was founded by Jason Zook in April of 2016.

After a successful first year, Jason brought aboard Ted Graham as a co-owner. Jason and Ted both have backgrounds in carpentry, as well as general remodeling, but have always known woodworking was their true calling. NEOHwood uses locally sourced logs to cut custom slabs for producing fine, live-edge furniture. They work with local tree companies to use logs, that would have otherwise ended up in

a landfill or as firewood, giving them a new life. NEOHwood also cares about the environment. For every log they receive, 5 trees are donated, as well as 1 for every piece of furniture sold. Their hope is to create a long lasting, sustainable relationship with the city of Cleveland, and it's suburbs

Excited to have walnut in the yard finally. In the next few months we will have about 30 slabs of walnut all 22”+ wide and a minimum 8’ long. Also a ton of really nice white oak, red oak, maple, and elm. 😁

We were a bunch of busy boys yesterday racing to get some jobs done. Eric is welding up some angle iron that will be wrapping some tops so it will lay in there just right. It’s so nice being able to weld our own stuff now and it is just as fun as working with wood.

This sander has been quite the learning experience. There always seems to be something that goes wrong, maintenance needed, or just something small that stops us in the middle of production. We have this sander basically running perfect now which has been a life saver and a Timesaver. Get it? 😂 Here we are lining up some white oak shelves and a top after coming out of the glue applicator. We no longer need to run these panels through the planer because of the 3 heads and the 150hp this machine can produce. Next stop is the CNC to do the final cutting and then finish sanding. This top should be ready to spray tonight or tomorrow morning.

working on a 12’ white oak countertop being installed this weekend. The clamp carrier makes quick work of gluing up tops and is pretty fun to use. We started offering this as a service and can make 1 or as many as you need. On a good day we can usually get 12 tops in this thing.

Excited to announce that we will be moving to a new location downtown Cleveland on Lakeside Ave. We are also joining forces with Lane 17 so we can provide awesome quality furniture and a lumber operation with a steady inventory. We officially will be moved in January and hopefully operating by February.

I also promise to start using the page more frequently as we continue to grow!

Some of the coolest, most creative ideas come organically. The wood was locally sourced from My Wood Loft in North Ridgeville.
