We were originally founded in 1865, when James Wagner returned from the Civil War to make tents, sails, bags and later, awnings. In 1931, Wagner Awning & Tents moved into its current 78,000 square foot factory on the near West side of

Cleveland. For decades, Wagner Awning has continued to make residential and commercial awnings for customers throughout Ohio as well as tents and projects for the military during World War II, the Vietnam War and even the Gulf War. In the early 1990’s, Wagner Awning became known as Ohio Awning & Manufacturing Co. WHAT WE DO

We recently completed another exciting project with Rick Doody of NCR Ventures at his Cedar Creek Grille in Beachwood, Ohio. Ohio Awning & Manufacturing Co Awning was charged with creating a unique look differing from the typical storefront awning. After some renderings and experimenting with different colors and stripe sizes, we landed on this classy looking gray and white stripe with black accent stripe concave style awnings. Attention to detail was imperative to achieve the look worthy of the fine dining experience Cedar Creek Grille provides. We hope you take notice of the changes inside and outside with a visit to Cedar Creek Grille at the corner of Cedar and Richmond. We used Top Notch FR from Marlen Textiles fabric to create the custom stripes.
