whenever I source an item without knowing the original/previous owner, I try to find out more about the provenance of it: where it was made, when it was made, what's the story behind the piece etc. A little historical detective work is really cool and I learn lots.🔎

I was researching this lil guy for the Market tomorrow, trying to decide if I reeeeally want to sell it bc for some reason I'm just very fond of it...And holy moly did I undershoot myself! Guess I haven't lost that eye for treasures.

Still undecided about this gem, but there will be many others!!
