Update on the smokehouse raccoon situation…

Turns out it wasn’t just one raccoon.

It was a mother and 4 babies living up in the soffit.
All 5 were safely removed and relocated to an 800-acre nature preserve, which is a much better setup than freeloading above my smokehouse.
I’m glad they’re safe.

I’m also glad they’re not above my BBQ anymore.

BBQ Test Pit turned into Wildlife Test Pit real quick.

No brisket was stolen.
No ribs were harmed.

But I’m pretty sure they were casing the joint.
