Saved the township some money & headaches by walking the feller down a dirt road in Greenfield removing all the hazardous trees. Farm financial stress is intensifying. Court records show 315 Chapter 12 farm bankruptcies were filed last year, up 46% from the previous year and the highest level since the pandemic.

Losses in both crop and livestock sectors drove the increase, with the Midwest and Southeast accounting for more than two-thirds of filings.
