We are very excited to announce we will be closed for a few days while we transition 😘
I don’t know where to start. When my health started to go bad (I’ll be fine) but, it became real to me that I couldn’t handle three shops. I felt that I was neglectful to the this location as it was hard for me to get here physically. This resulted in some depression and full on neglect of everything. I felt I failed by realizing I can’t handle this.
I was then invited to be interviewed at a women business event. Another panelist told her story about how she needed to close to grow.
I’ve been toying with growing TCP into something bigger for awhile now and rebranding. While listening to her to I realized I NEEDED to do the same. I need to get healthy so I can focus on achieving my goals. I’m not failing I’m pivoting.
The choice was hard!!!! Which shop to close. It simply came down to, I can’t drive right now. Because I’d keep Clinton over all and I’ll explain why!
Clinton you are MAGIC! There is no place like you! Nevermind how beautiful you are! Then all the amazing events! Its The people, they are simply amazing! From the local politicians being absolutely the most supportive, kind, helpful people I’ve encountered! I mean our Mayor is goals!!!!!! I have two other shops in towns that could and should take lessons from you all! I’ll miss that type of support and community. Then the local shop owners!!!! WOW talk about community! I’ll miss you all, I miss you all now! We are a family and they welcomed me in opened armed again I’ve never felt it or seen anything like it! They know I’m not local and they simply helped me every step of the way! I’ll miss my friends all over town and will absolutely be visiting every chance I get!
I can’t be more grateful to Cheryl Okie the owner of The Wild Iris this shop was built with such love! I didn’t want to close it broke my heart to not see it continue. Our murals were drawn by my best friend and painted together with our husbands. The floors were done by my hubby and a local plant friend who jumped in to help. We had friends pop in and pick up brushes and hammers.. just so many beautiful memories. I’m so honored you love it so much your following your dream in this space! That truly is an honor.
That is exactly what I needed to happen to make me feel good about this! To see you follow your dream is beautiful and something I truly enjoy watching! I love seeing women follow their dreams and succeed and I absolutely know you will!!!!

We will keep this page open for awhile after the transition. This way we are still available to you, any questions or concerns about anything purchased from tcp including any outstanding gift cards. They can be used at our other locations and website with free shipping! Please contact us with any questions. We will absolutely do our best to help make it easiest on you!

Beginning January 3rd, The TCP Clinton location will be home to The Wild Iris.
The Curious Plantaholic has always been known for its unique and captivating plant offerings. You can expect an expanded selection of plants, from exotic specimens to everyday favorites, ensuring that there is something for everyone from novice to seasoned collectors.
The transition will be seamless as the Clinton location will retain its charm and character TCP created. You can expect nothing short of the exceptional customer service and expert advice that you have come to know and love.
