Another successful floor restoration completed!
This kitchen suffered water damage after a leaking dishwasher caused the solid wood subfloor beneath the LVP flooring to swell and create major rippling throughout the floor. The homeowner was understandably concerned they might have to replace the entire flooring system.
After carefully assessing the damage, we were able to remove the affected LVP, replace the rotted subfloor sections, and reinstall the existing flooring, trim, and quarter round — saving the customer from a full floor replacement and keeping the project within budget.
We take pride in finding practical, cost-effective solutions whenever possible while still delivering a clean, professional finish.

Big transformation on this mountain cabin stairway in Maggie Valley, N.C. 🏔️

This staircase started with a dated, unfinished look and was transformed into a clean custom feature that fits the cabin perfectly. We refinished the stair structure, added a bold dark finish to the treads, installed a patterned stair runner, and completed the look with wood handrails, black posts, and cable railing for a modern mountain-cabin feel.

The goal was to keep the warm wood character of the home while giving the stairs a cleaner, safer, and more finished appearance — and this project completely changed the look of the main living space.
