🧊❄️ Time to winterize your water feature! ❄️🧊
If you have an outdoor fountain or pond pump, now’s the moment to give it a little care so it can survive the cold safely. Here’s how:

✔️ Unplug the pump — Prevents damage when water freezes. 
✔️ Remove & clean the pump — Rinse off debris, old algae, and give it a good inspection. 
✔️ Store it or insulate it — If your pump is removable, keep it in a frost-free bucket of water; if it stays installed, cover or insulate so ice can’t crack it. 
✔️ Drain or leave running (depending on setup) — If you’re shutting it down for winter, disconnect any unions and drain pipes; if you keep it running, watch for ice dams and maintain water level. 
✔️ Clean the surrounding feature — Clear leaves, remove plant debris, and make sure nothing blocks the flow when it returns in spring. 

Don’t let freezing temps slow down your water feature’s comeback in spring — take a few minutes now and avoid a big repair later! 💧🌨️
