Churches & nonprofits: if you are considering the FY26 Nonprofit Security Grant Program, now is the time to start preparing.
BHS Tactics & Consulting LLC has worked with local churches and nonprofit organizations on security walkthroughs, vulnerability assessments, and written safety recommendations in the past. In several cases, those reports were 40+ pages and identified practical ways to improve safety, security, emergency planning, access control, and response procedures.
This year, we are organizing that process into clear NSGP Readiness Packages so churches and nonprofits know exactly what to expect before the grant window opens.
The Nonprofit Security Grant Program can help eligible organizations pursue funding for physical security improvements such as cameras, access control, reinforced doors, lighting, emergency planning, training, and other target-hardening measures.
But one of the biggest pieces is this:
Your requested security improvements need to be tied to a facility-specific vulnerability assessment.
That means your organization needs to be able to clearly show:
• What vulnerabilities exist at your facility
• What risks or threats you are trying to reduce
• What improvements would directly address those gaps
• How those improvements support a stronger security posture
BHS NSGP Readiness Services include:
• NSGP Readiness Review — $399
• Full Vulnerability Assessment — starting at $1,250
• Assessment + Project Support — starting at $1,995
• Premium NSGP Support — starting at $3,500
The $399 Readiness Review can be credited toward a full vulnerability assessment if scheduled within 30 days.
A redacted sample report is available upon request so your leadership team can see the level of detail provided before scheduling.
