Raise your hand if you messed up this week ✋
After getting back to WI a few weeks ago I recorded a new ad. Local talk about the area, footage is shot here, all that jazz.
Well when I posted it last week, there’s a hard to find little are where it shows other content you’ve made that is similar and Meta is automatically going to include in your campaign unless you remove them. I missed that.
I discovered today that it’s been putting in two of my older Texas videos as well. Basically I’ve been paying hundreds of dollars to show people in WI videos that start with me narrating “Texas landowners” 😵💫
TLDR: I spent hundreds of bucks showing wrong ads to people because I misunderstood a setting.
