You must read it!!

I got a phone call from one of my towing company, saying that someone tried to make a key for 2007 Sprinter, the key works for the doors but doesn’t turn the ignition. I usually don’t take those kind of jobs but it’s a good customer so I took it.
The stupid “locksmith” try to force turn the EIS (with metal key, no chip, no program) and even sprayed WD40 into the EIS, flooded the module. He tried so hard the key broke off of its plastic head.
Now the EIS doesn’t work even with a programmed key…. The customer hasn’t paid a dime, he’s furious and I keep hitting my self knowing that that’s what happened when you break your own rules.

My rule: DON’T TOUCH A BMW, Mercedes, Audi or VW (and similar vehicles) after someone else touched it and failed.
