The homeowner had neglected this beautiful walnut door since 2002 and we had the pleasure of restoring it for him this week. I am just in awe. Great job, DoorRestore LLC!

PS Not going to lie, this one has got me in my feels. You see, this very door was one of the first doors ever made by Grand Door Company, which means it was entirely made by Steve Lightfoot himself with possibly a little help from myself and our 6 and 4 year old sons. I really think I have a memory of having them on this jobsite, posted up in the back of the truck, with a promise of a trip the dollar store to pick out a toy if they were good. They were always good. ☺️

Here is a snapshot of our stripping process. Sun damaged, flaky and bleached finish can be removed to expose the natural beauty and color of the original hardwood. This process allows us to get that completely like-new color and clarity with our refinish jobs! It’s not uncommon for our customers to state, "It looks better than when it was new!", and that is due to the quality of our craftsmanship and knowledge that our team takes pride in.
