Not every house needs an encapsulation. But when you notice high humidity levels, and water intrusion.. that means we need a special way of solving the issue. Especially when I see spray foam used in a crawl space, that has a high probability to trap moisture inside of the wood, expediting the wood rot.

If your soil around the structure is higher than the foundation wall of the structure this may be a problem. How do you even know if it is? Check around the foundation vents.
