We’re not shooting a horror movie 🤣 any guesses what we’re going to do with all these cherries?! This machine we thrifted if one of the best of all time. Three gallons in less than an hour is incredible and such a time saver. How do you pit cherries?

Eight pounds of strawberries chopped in less than five minutes!! I could make hundreds of these! Here's the recipe!!
Strawberry Delight
2 pounds cleaned and sliced strawberries
1 tub or can of whipped cream
Sugar
1 angel food cake
Juice from half a lemon
Slice strawberries, place in a bowl and to your desired sweetness add sugar. Let them soak in their own juices for a minimum of thirty minutes. Layer in the angel food container, angel food cake, strawberries, then whipped cream, until container is full.
Now if someone likes it super sweet, we add sweetened condensed milk between layers to soak the angel food cake even more.

Clean those nasty strawberries!! This is a great way to remove bugs, dirt, and pesticides.
Strawberries remain number one on the dirty dozen list along with apples, potatoes, peaches, and cherries. All produce purchased from the store should be washed throughly before consumption. Baking soda bath or apple cider vinegar by themselves or both is an acceptable method. We do both because why not.

Packed full of flavor this apricot jam is perfect for breakfast, fillings, or just because!

8 cups fresh apricots - peeled, pitted, and crushed
¼ cup lemon juice
6 cups white sugar

1. Combine crushed apricots, lemon juice, and sugar in a large pot. Heat slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves.
2. Bring to a boil and cook about 25 minutes, stirring often, until thickened. Skim off any foam.
3. Sterilize 5 pint jars and keep lids hot.
4. Fill hot jars with hot jam, leaving ¼-inch headspace. Remove air bubbles and wipe rims clean.
5. Add lids and rings.
6. Process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, ensuring jars are covered by at least 1 inch of water.
7. Remove jars and let cool completely. Check seals and store in a cool, dark place.
