It tree season again! Every box in the first two pictures has to be reorganized and sorted according to customer pickup date and moved to the last room. Last pickups have to go in first and earlier pickups last so that poor ole Grandpa doesn't have to dig thru piles of boxes twice to find orders. Over 225 boxes.
50 years of experience has taught me to utilize gravity and a forklift and my brain versus just my back.
I'm gettin too old for this s**t!

Terrific. More confusion added to the rootstock equation.
Most growers are just learning and testing the last batch that have become available, and probably finding out the true hidden faults and merits of the oldest Genevas and are trying to figure out which ones are winners and which are losers. The growers really do the final research and development on rootstocks, cultivars and practices
I'll admit I'm a cynic and I question whether all these new rootstocks and cultivars are truly better or are they just introduced in order to keep the royalty payments on intellectual property flowing.

Additions to the Geneva rootstock line are semi-dwarfing, productive and even fire blight resistant.

Busy morning unloading 3 semi loads of fruit trees for area farmers. It's going to take us a few days to sort & organize this chaos of boxes!
