How do you fix cracks in stucco? And how do you know when it’s time to take the problem seriously? You wouldn’t expect this to become a problem in a one-year-old stuccoed home. But this homeowner has decided it’s better to stop the process of stucco deterioration now rather than risk the issue getting worse. While large stucco cracks may require a stucco contractor to be involved, smaller cracks 1/32 of an inch or less are often handled by a painting contractor.
