Picture this: It’s late November, you feel full, in all the ways— someone just poured their second glass of w**e and the candles have burned to the holder but no one has made the slightest attempt to leave. The food was lovely but no one’s talking about anymore, the conversation has moved onto something less formal, now everyone has settled into themselves, and into your place for the night. And for a few hours, the world outside seems wonderfully unimportant.
