The first new school in the Widefield School District since 1997, Grand Mountain School was completed in August of 2019.

This 113,000 s.f building was designed to support a computer science emphasis, with a focus on integrating technology across the curriculum. The PK-8 school has gained innovation status from the Colorado Department of Education, and will weave computer science and coding into all core subjects in all grades.

This week marked the completion of the Design Development Phase for the New Bennett District Service Center for the Intermountain Rural Electric Association (IREA). LKA is thrilled to be working with the good folks at IREA on this wonderful project. We are also happy to again be partnering with NUNN Construction, Inc.

Grand Mountain School has gone vertical! With the achievement of the "thru finish" building permit on 08/27/2018, the building has started to grow into the 3rd dimension. Stay tuned.....

Dryer weather has led to lots of activity on the site of the Grand Mountain School this week. Foundations are complete on approximately 60% of the building, and construction will soon begin to go vertical with masonry and steel.

Congratulations to the Widefield School District on the groundbreaking last week for the new LKA Partners, Inc. designed PK-8 School.

This approximately 110,000 sf building, recently named Grand Mountain School, will have a computer science emphasis with a focus on integrating technology into all major core content classes.

LKA is currently completing construction documents for this new building. Site grading and utility construction has already begun on the site in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood. Construction is planned to be complete in August of 2019.
