BBKern Designs, LLC Bernie Kern is the sole propriety owner of BBKern DESIGNS, LLC. BBKern DESIGNS specializes in Residential Design, Production Homes and Remodeling.

Bernie has worked in the construction industry since 1982 after returning to Colorado from college in Arizona. Having started out working for a structural and civil engineering firm, Bernie established experience with how structures go together which has made BBKern DESIGNS great at working out complicated structural issues, whenever needed. Since establishing BBKern DESIGNS, Bernie has used his e

xperience and involvement with local associations like the Home Builders Association and Construction Specifications Institute. Bernie is also an active member of the American Institute of Building Design, currently serving as the Colorado State Society President. Bernie has a passion for using construction methods that help utilize energy smart design without causing a huge expense in building costs. Bernie enjoys meeting with clients and establishing a friendship along with a business atmosphere to help clients achieve their design goals.
