Small kitchen remodel update**

Built for a busy family in a rambler home.

Custom base cabinets with smooth pull-out drawers for better function and storage. We kept the existing uppers and installed new shaker doors to refresh the look without overdoing it.

Finished with Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series enamel, LVP tile flooring, quartz countertops, and fresh paint throughout.

I really enjoyed this one, good people and a space that’s going to see a lot of use, memories, and plenty of dirty dishes.

Project update baby basement room in Roseville, MN.

The homeowners removed their old drop ceiling and handled a good portion of the prep themselves. My role was stepping in where experience and efficiency matter most: installing mineral wool batt insulation in the floor joists (cry baby noise control) , hanging 5/8” fire-rated drywall, then taping, mudding, sanding, and leaving everything clean and paint-ready. Can lights were completed by a licensed electrician.

They’ll be adding texture and finishing touches on their own, and honestly...... I love working with clients who aren’t afraid to get involved in their own projects. I sit right in that middle space: above DIY level work, but small enough to take on the projects bigger contractors often pass on.

If contractors could leave reviews for clients, these folks would get five stars. Grateful to help build spaces where families create real memories… and their dog might’ve been the sweetest site supervisor I’ve had in a while 🐾

Great solultion for flooring without having to the labor of taking up old tile. Simple tranitions, water tight, durable and afordable.

Lots of options and designs aviable at local big bo stores and speciliaty suppliers. I recommend finding products listed as waterproof, 6–8+ thickenss and 20+ mm wear and lifetime warranty.

Deck Restoration

This deck got a major transformation—without a full rebuild. If the framing is still solid, most neglected wood decks just need a deep clean and a quality oil-based sealer.

The stain/seal I use is low VOC and penetrates deep into the wood for lasting protection. With the right maintenance, wood decks can hold up for years and still look great.
