Their grandma has this painting on her wall and she can enjoy looking at it every day❤️

My dear friend (and coworker from the old river rat days on the Big Muddy with USGS), asked me to paint her kids and their cousins as a Christmas gift for her mom!

Her kids are special to me because I’ve been a homecare/second mom to them since they were 2 months old while she works hard for River Studies. ❤️

The photo is special to me because it represents a positive future with today’s kids growing up with a connection to nature. The light is beautiful in the photo and I flew through this painting!

Now, their grandma has this on her wall. She gets to see her grandkids in a timeless moment every day, and that’s soul food. ❤️

No one cared at all about the rain changing the plan.

The original plan was for the ceremony and painting to take place in front of the scenic outdoor fountain. But it was too sloppy and rainy for anything outdoors.
Sarah and I arrived expecting frantic people trying to move everything around last minute. Instead, everyone was having a great time! We were particularly impressed with the wedding planner who was sweet and helped us get situated. We were surprised to find out that this was her first time planning a wedding!!! She was amazing. And so was the family.
The whole wedding and the people in it were so kind and authentic. We know Matti and Ryan will have a great life together ❤️

This bride tried to catch a frog while crossing the creek in her dress ❤️🐸 So I decided to give them a surprise in their wedding painting (which is my new favorite by the way) 😄❤️🎨💍

This couple asked for the painting to be the dip kiss on their way down aisle with lots of drama and natural light. They were almost out of the building before they pulled the most gorgeous dip kiss. With 24x36 inches of canvas, I was able to get so much detail on the couple. Also, the groom is in the Air Force so thank for you service and it was an honor to paint for you

This couple wanted me to capture the dramatic dip kiss they were going to do down the aisle. They wanted the aesthetic to be bright and light. It was my largest painting so far at 24x36 inches. Because there was so much room on the canvas I was able to go into a lot more detail. I love how it turned out!
