ROUND TWO... πͺπ¨
With any blessing, this time next Tuesday, I'll be awakening from my second open cranium surgery due to the luxuries of stage four renal carcinoma cancer. Sadly, I receive my "poisoning" IV treatment tomorrow, Wednesday. Thus, I won't be able to see anybody in person until well after the surgery due to immunity issues.
I hope to take as much of the brunt of this "perceived terminal situation" as I possibly can, hoping to learn and share my experience with others of the possibilities of safer alternatives.
Each journey is different, yet there are tools available to all that are not so easily found. Follow the money. We have been lied to, for profit, of all things. The industry simply turns out, "yes'men and women bound to insurance companies, hospital profitability, and not your medical wellness. Do your own diligence.
We've worked with two cancer teams; the most heartbreaking thing they can do is look you in the eye and say, "We simply don't have time for personal care" and "Even if we make mistakes, you must be your own personal advocate" for health within their system. Aka, follow this cookie-cutter protocol or leave...
I'm well past my perceived expiration date from when this originally occurred. We are eternally grateful for the few who stood by our side. Look for that. I can only ask that you'd would check in on my family if I'm not too awake.
Until next time, remember to pour into yourself first and foremost. A strong foundation can weather a storm. Help yourself spiritually, mentally, and physically to create that foundation. Otherwise, a weak foundation based on falsities and highlights of social media postings only brings others to your shaky foundation that sinks you both quicker. Meeting the best version of you makes your world and your universe better, for all involved.
I know many have fought this battle. But as we have been on the razor's edge for the past year and a half, there's one thing I would love. It's a stress in regards to my experience. You're looking at the end of the thread, and you're following the trail backwards that got you here; that's not the toys, that's not the money. It's not the monetary things for me. It was reminiscent of all the wonderful relationships and interactions. Realize that absolutely everything in life is seasonal. That has been one of the biggest blessings that i've had with my relationships. I believe this causes us to fully interact with one another on a greater level knowing that there may not be tomorrow.
If you took the time to check in on us. I would ask that any prayers or positive mojo.Be directed to my family. They have worked so hard to help me through this past year and a half, I simply want to hear without them. They deserve all the prayers, blessings positive mojo, possible.
And on that note,
God bless you, your family, and America
