In Forest Acres, a simple introduction turned into a meaningful project when his neighbor introduced him to us.

The homeowner inherited a property but felt overwhelmed—leaky roof, out dated finishes and a lifetime of collectibles to sort through—all while trying to move forward with life plans out in Colorado.

At Local Happiness Construction, we believe in listening first. Together, we created a plan:
✔️ Replaced the roof
✔️ Removed a failing deck
✔️ Cleared and restored the overgrown property
✔️ Helped coordinate an auction for collectibles
✔️ Brought in the right team to turn a $7,000 insurance payout into $123,000

Then once the home was cleared and stabilized, we put it under contract and on Monday we will purchase it at fair market value.

We’re excited to begin the transformation of this over half an acre property into a fully updated 4 bed / 4 bath home zoned for Satchel Ford Elementary School, Crayton Middle School, and AC Flora High School.

We can’t wait to bring it back to life. Stay tuned!

What a week!

We’re making things happen for residential multiple clients.

We’re turning the most neglected house on the block into a 3 bed 2 bath completely new rental.

We also got 6.5 acres with only one hoise on the land under contract. We first spotted the land in 2024. Located in Forest Acres and zoned R1 we saw cops checking on the property. We are planning on developing the vacant land into much needed lots where we or others can build you a house.

Look for me to tell you more about this awesome property in the near future.

In the meantime here’s a sketch we provided to a client after listening to them tell us what they want. They want a better kitchen and a new half bath. What can we do for you?
