Meet the Sox & Freeman Family:
We are very happy to introduce to you our newest Plant Health Care Technician Lily. As soon as she joined the team, we very quickly realized she was an incredibly bright and capable individual, and after spending months with our tree care crews, we also found her to be extremely hardworking, detail oriented and invested in her work and were thrilled when she accepted the offer to tackle the role of plant health care technician and we know she will do well by the plants and trees of Columbia and the surrounding areas in that capacity.
We asked Lily to provide a brief bio so she could introduce herself a bit more: My "official" background is in graphic design, but I have always prefered working outdoors. I have worked on ranches in Wyoming, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina, and will someday own one myself. I started an LLC in 2023 as a solution to allow me to continue expanding on my design skills but not be restricted in my creative freedom and stuck behind my screen all day. My goal is to start subsidiaries under my studio name, so that I get to do my hobbies professionally while sharing them with others in uniquely, creatively designed facilities. I grew up in a military family and have four siblings aged 1-18, with one on the way. I live on a farm and have a cattle dog named Spur, who is spoiled rotten and loves to ride on tractors, excavators, boats, and even four-wheelers, but is afraid of duck decoys (not even real ducks, just the decoys).
So if you see Lily out and about, feel free to say hi! And don’t be shy about asking her about graphic design (we’re always happy to see our team thrive in all of their pursuits)
