The Ginkgo, or Maidenhair Tree, botanically known as Ginkgo biloba, is basically the grandpa of all trees—seriously, it’s been around since dinosaurs were the new kids on the block. This slow to moderate grower eventually stretches 50–80 feet tall and 30–40 feet wide, taking its sweet time to get there but looking classy the whole way with its fan-shaped leaves that turn a knockout golden yellow each fall. Ginkgo is about as low-maintenance as it gets—it laughs at pollution, shrugs off tough soils, and doesn’t fuss much once established, making it perfect for people who want a tree without a lot of babysitting. It prefers full sun and decent drainage, but it’s not picky. Tough, ancient, and a little quirky, the Ginkgo is the tree equivalent of that one old-timer who’s seen it all and still shows up looking sharp.

Weeping Willow Trees are ready to plant in their forever home! 🏡 These trees are in 10 gallon grow bags, they are 12’-14’ tall and just starting to bud out for spring. 🌲🌴🌳

The Salix babylonica, commonly called the Babylon weeping willow, is a fast-growing deciduous tree known for its graceful, drooping branches and narrow green leaves that create a cascading, curtain-like shape. Native to northern China, it can grow 30–50 ft (9–15 m) tall and wide, often gaining several feet per year in ideal conditions. It thrives best in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, and is commonly planted near ponds, rivers, or wet areas because it tolerates wet soil. The tree has an aggressive root system, so it should be planted away from pipes, foundations, and septic systems. Care is relatively simple: provide regular watering (especially when young), occasional pruning to remove dead or crossing branches, and plenty of space to spread, as the tree’s broad canopy and roots need room to grow. 🌿🌳
