Before you start your AC this year, you should schedule a service call to have your unit checked for a bad start capacitor. Its the number one thing that goes out on the outdoor unit. The reason is under high load amp draw, the compressor can really pull a lot of power to get going.

If you need a new water heater, I can use box store brands from Lowe's and Menards, but the higher quality ones are also available through local contractor supply warehouses. Brands like RUUD cost a bit more, but seem to be more reliable.

Its really warm. Most of my service calls are for not enough cooling.
Most frequent reasons.
1. Dirty filter or wrong kind. The air handler is running or should be running on high speed. If system cant get enough air flow you dont get cool.
2. No warm return air back to the blower on furnace blower. This means the warm air rises up to the ceiling and stays there. Get fans or something to move the air.
3. Low refrigerant level. You got a leak! This requires repair or replacement of a major component.

A 1985 V8 engine. I think GM 260 HP. ⅕Sat since 2012. Has new spark plugs and fresh oil in it. I believe the last person who had this was on to something...getting it to start! I bought it as an abondoned boat and it kinda been a fun hobby getting to know this things quirks. I'm adding a little PB plaster to each cylinder before I hand crank the engine.
