Working at a historical house in German village that has a exotic garden with exotic plants and exotic perennials. You have to be very careful when walking through and we’re working on the garage in the house so we have to walk in the area where these exotic plants exist and let’s say I have to cut in one section because evidently the sawdust will create an issue with these plants and the sculptures and statues here are all imported from Italy, but it is a very nice very well kept and maintained area but typically I don’t watch where I stepped that well yeah it’s always fun if anyone has any interior exterior commercial residential painting, wood repair flooring, carpentry, texture, work drywall repair or any other projects reach out to me Don at 614-549-8840

A well built deck starts with a ledger connection that manages both strength and water.
This detail shows how the deck ledger ties into the foundation while the joists are supported with proper hardware. Flashing is integrated behind the siding and around the ledger to help direct water away from the wall.
The bolts, washers, joist hangers, and flashing each serve a specific purpose in creating a durable connection.
Understanding this assembly makes it easier to recognize the key details that protect a deck from structural and moisture-related problems.

This homeowner was just approved for a full siding replacement due to storm damage. We fought her insurance company for several months and we won that appraisal.
