✨️ Did you know that Clue was first released in the US in 1949 by Parker Brothers? It was actually created in Britain by a musician and his wife and based off of the mystery dinner parties he would play music for, and it was called Cluedo.

✨️ So... this happened. After a very quiet year for Vintage Red Creations due to family activities, I am happy to share that I have been invited to be a vendor at the Eclectiques Antique Mall in Clintonville! My booth is just to the left of the checkout counter.

✨️SOLD !!!✨️

This rare 2nd version of the Original 1949 Candy Land has found a new home.

Fortunately, I have finished framing an original 1st version board! I'll post the pictures soon. 🍬🍫🍭

✨️ Created by Eleanor Abbott, a teacher, who contracted polio in her 30s and spent time in a polio hospital surrounded by children who were isolated from their families. She created Candy Land as a way to help them pass the time.

🐚 A much needed break with a very dear friend. ❤️

✨️ For lots of reasons, it's been very hard for me to get back to my happy place of making my framed board games. This trip has been a great time of refreshment and renewal. ❤️

I can't wait to get back to it.

✨️ Sneak peak! I've been sick and out of commission for the last few weeks, and I'm super behind on creating my framed board games and posting some of my fun finds.

I grew up around glass like Viking, Fostoria, Fenton and Heisey, to name a few. I am so drawn to it, but I can't keep it. So this is the next best thing!

These gorgeous peach iridescent dishes are from Anchor Hocking's Fire King Peach Lustre line. This design is known as "Sheaves of Wheat" or "Laurel Leaves". They were produced from the 1950s until 1963.

✨️ This customer and her story were one of my most special and favorite moments for my company.

She was thrilled to find this 1933 Winnie the Pooh framed board game, complete and in wonderful condition. She wanted to right a wrong with her son, decades after disposing of his favorite game, so he could now play it with his grandson. She even took the time to send me a note sharing how it was received at Christmas time. ❤️🎲❤️

Stories like this remind me why I love what I do.

✨️ So, I did a thing. I now have my own website! Man, that was a LOT of work! 😁

I will maintain my Etsy Shop for now, but my focus will be on my website, adding lots more framed board games and other new items.

Etsy is a great platform, but after completing every recommended step, including paying for a lot of marketing, the number of visitors to my shop has not grown at all in the last two years.

Starting over with a new website will take time and have challenges, but I'm super excited to give it a try!
