Tiny build 101:
The trailer and plumbing is where the build begins for us.
With 2x steel framing and DOT trailer is where the process begins.
We insulate the floors from R20 to R35. The plumbing is ran in Schedule 40 pvc and the water lines are Pex A. A stronger and more reliable product. All plumbing is pressure and water tested before the subfloor goes in. A sheet of plastic sheathing is applied under all our subfloors to ensure a strong v***r barrier. We also offer closed cell in the floors when requested.
This is where it all begins.ANY tiny home builder or buyer should give this stage of the build special attention. It's what you don't see that matters in the final product.
