A beautiful set of stairs and barnwood wall that we completed in the Powell area.
The first 2 pictures are the "before" and the rest "after"
All new Red Oak Base Rails, Hand Rails, and Newel Posts hand sanded, stained with a custom mixed color and finished in Gloss Polyurethane. New black iron balusters alternating straight and rectangular. We also installed a new matching handrail on the upper wall as well.
This was a fun job that turned out just as good as I had hoped it would.
The new look on the staircase flows perfectly into the barnwood wall.

This is a 12' long Teak Butcher Block we fabricated and installed. 5/16 round over on the edges, a rounded corner, sanded, stained with Provincial and clear coated with satin polyurethane. Drop in sink and cooktop.
It turned out beautiful.

My Dog needed something nice for his toy collection, so I built him a toy chest out of Acacia and Red Oak. Stained the Red Oak with a teal color and sprayed with Polyurethane.
The wooden letters and bones I just bought from hobby lobby to save time.

It's not very often I get to work on my own house, but when I do it's because the drain hose for the washer came out of the drain hole in the wall and flooded the laundry room, Kitchen and hallway.
Luckily I know a guy, fun weekend ahead!

It's a tough thing to balance, and when you break down the cost of operation and the hours worked seen and unseen the pay is horrible lol Especially these days with the prices of materials, gas and all the other overhead.
But I enjoy the freedom of not waking up at 6am everyday and rushing into a time clock.

Back to this 100% handmade built-in wall unit now that the TV has been lowered a few inches and we got a few smaller projects knocked out and behind us. Every single aspect of this is handmade, hand sanded, hand finished and sprayed by US at Outlaw Carpentry clear down to the electric for the overhead lighting. We DO NOT outsource anything! These hands and over 20 years of experience do ALL of this.

We've been extremely busy making sawdust lately.
This one was so big we had to seam part of it together onsite, which also caused us to have to do the final sanding and apply the finish onsite as well.
Solid American Walnut butcher block, pencil edge, no stain, natural color with 3 coats of flat polyurethane applied. It turned out really nice, we will be taking final pictures when the homeowner is done replacing their backsplash.
