Good morning, I rarely make posts like this on the business page but I feel like I need to. For those of you that have known me for awhile know that we deal with a serious medical issue in this house with Aubrey on dialysis.
Friday during dialysis they discovered that Her line was clotted so they couldn't do treatment. So we ended up at Riverside Hospital in the ER, they did the procedure to open the line back up Tuesday and She was able to come home Tuesday night.
So She went to dialysis again Wednesday, (yesterday) and it was still clotted and they couldn't do the dialysis. So we went straight back to the ER at around 8pm last night and literally sat in the waiting room until about an hour ago when they finally took her back to get her checked into a room. So now we just have to wait and see what the next steps are.

As far as business and things go, if we are in contract or your job is currently underway I will be in contact later today as soon as I have more info.
I will not be answering back to new inquiries at this time until we know what's going on.
If you are waiting on a quote, please be patient if you can. If not I understand.
I just got home to take care of the dog, I'm going to get a couple hours of sleep and head back to Riverside.
I'm sorry for any inconveniences, this has been a very exhausting week, but this takes priority over anything else.

Before/After of these original posts we wrapped in Cedar.
All miters, no butt joints.
It really changed the look of not only the porch but the whole front of the house. 😎

Our most recent backsplash.
We were hired by a local Granite Fabrication Shop to go in and completely remove this botched attempt at a backsplash and start fresh. We had to cut out all of the tile and drywall, replace it with new drywall to start fresh on a nice smooth surface.
The first 7 picture are what we walked into, it was so bad they didn't even grout it before they were fired.

Hexagon tiles on a netted backing takes a lot of patience to deal with, but we are good at what we do.

The rest of the pictures are of our work and craftsmanship. There's a difference and this is where we separate ourselves from the competition.
(Joking 😂 we don't have any competition)

A few months ago we were selected to install a Motawi Tileworks backsplash. Every single one of these tiles are painted by hand. This was a first for us and it was a very fun project to work on.
The hardest part was finding tiles to incorporate the Motawi tiles into, the homeowner already had the layout planned on exactly where She wanted each tile to be set.
I think my favorite tile was the Owl.

Definitely not the weekend we had planned for, coming home from a job Friday we suffered a setback with the workhorse. But I really really have to thank my guy Michael Gills and Josh Perry at Best Customs and Collision for giving up their weekend to get old Betty White fixed and ready for work Monday.
We had to pull the driveshaft and transmission out of the truck, and cut off the exhaust to get to the flex plate (flywheel) take it off and replace it. Then get the starter properly placed in line with the new flex plate. Put everything back together. Then checked everything out for leaks, replaced the rear brake line.
The truck is completely leak free and running strong ready for the work week.
My Dad got this truck almost 30 years ago when He opened his first cabinet shop in Tennessee and He handed it down to me so we have to keep it going.
It will outlive the second generation of woodworking in this family for sure. Awesome running truck for being 30 years old.

I noticed something that I wanted to share.
I typed Outlaw Carpentry and Countertops LLC into the search bar so I could share my page with my cousin.
This is what I noticed below my page, tons of negative reviews for other companies. I was freaked out at first so I started clicking on them and they're power washing companies, pool companies, etc.. that we have nothing to do with.
So I just wanted to clear that up in case someone came across the same thing I just did.

Just a few things I'm still proud of, so I thought I would share a little bit of my previous experience.
In 2013 after moving back to Columbus Ohio from Nashville Tennessee I was the lead Carpenter/Cabinet Builder for a company called OHR and we won several awards. Good times and I'm still hoping to get that kind of recognition for my own Company, definitely in the growing pain stage of the business right now.
