😹 Driving today I was thinking about some of the most memorable (and hilarious) experiences we have had while looking at potential projects. One of my top tens is the ‘episode’ when the owner hired a cat security guard which was literally a guy that followed us around to make sure we didn’t take the cat. I mean this dude was on us. There were posters, wall hangings, a calendar featuring said cat— this cat was well loved. It was awkward and hilarious and weird as hell. Is it just us?! 😆😂

🏳️ This coveted white flag… is huge for us.
💦By chance, we discovered we have a water line running past our cabin in Hocking Hills (literally on our property)— the wild part, it’s from a neighboring county that no one mentioned in the 100 other times I talked to the county our cabin is in. So on Monday, we took our mountain of paperwork and money to Ross County to start the process of getting a tap, and getting supplied water up to the cabin.
🚰 It’s going to take some engineering brilliance to get it up the elevation but we have a plan and a company to do it. 🙌

Rarely do we get properties that aren’t gross.

Here’s one of my favorite cleaning hacks for the inside of a microwave:

-Take a bowl and fill it with water and vinegar (2 parts water, 1 vinegar. Eyeballing it is fine).
-Microwave for 3 minutes or until it’s boiling
-Let it sit for about 5 minutes without opening the door.

Makes wiping out a microwave easy!

The cabin! It’s done and after a few weeks, our calendar is booking up. 🙌 The before and after of this is something! I think my muscles have just now stopped hurting and I did have to have stain cut out of my hair. So worth it. ❤️
