Guess what? We’re back at it again with this remodel project! Remember when we promised to take you along for the ride? Well, here we are, about halfway! From the demo days to the new roof framing and the window installation, you’re in for a treat. Can you believe how much progress we’ve made? The drywall is up, the new hardwood floors are in, and the beams are prepped. Stay tuned for more updates on this incredible full remodel!

Throwback to this white pine wall treatment with a custom coat rack and bench! This mud hall complements the 1st floor mud entry. The mud hall features antique white oak fixed shelving units milled on-site from barn posts and beams. The bench matches the upstairs one with a poplar threshing board seat and legs. Hooks are sourced by the homeowner which you’ll see in the final look at this project.

These matching TV cabinets make it even more desirable! Take a look at the custom-made cabinets built on-site at one of the cabins in Lancaster, Ohio.

White oak plywood boxes finished with antique white oak tops, face frames, doors, and trim. Half-inch overlay doors with center astragals. Ball feet turned off-site from a hand-hewn white oak 6x6 barn wind brace with 110 growth rings! We love seeing how our team can transform reclaimed wood into timeless handcrafted pieces.

Welcome to your new favorite mud entry, part of our three cabins in Lancaster, Ohio!
Each cabin boasts unique features, with reclaimed wood as the star. This mud entry features a bench made from a single poplar threshing board, a closet and shoe rack clad in antique oak milled from the center of reclaimed barn beams, and a coat rack with pegs from the same barn posts and beams.

Reclaimed wood is full of cracks, holes, rough edges, and built-in character. While it looks beautiful, that's not the only reason we use reclaimed wood when we can. It’s always nice to see a project complete. We started working on this one back in 2024 and got a chance to see the final product this January. The staircases uncovered, the lighting wired in with the hickory beams, tv mounted above the mantel, hardware installed, and of course the home owners settled in. Seeing the vision made into reality! This is what makes the work worth it!
