This was a special day. ❤️

This past week, our King family gathered to shower Chelsea, Chris, and their sweet little one with all the love we could fit into one room.

We shared breakfast for lunch, played games, opened gifts, and filled baby’s first library with some of our favorite childhood stories. We even painted little wooden dolls that will someday become part of a world of make-believe.

And while the books will be read, the toys will be played with, and the tiny clothes will eventually be outgrown, we hope one thing stays with this little one forever: knowing just how deeply they were loved, even before they arrived.

Some babies are wished for, hoped for, and prayed for in ways that words could never fully explain. And getting to celebrate this little life, and the beautiful new chapter ahead for Chelsea and Chris, is something we’ll hold close to our hearts.

Chelsea and Chris, there are so many people cheering you on. We couldn’t be happier for you both, and we can’t wait to meet this very loved little one. ❤️

Tired and Retired… but still racing for a good cause. 🛏️👵🏼

This past Saturday, our team joined the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio’s Bed Race, dressing the part and making our (very slow) way to the finish line.

Behind all the costumes, creativity and friendly competition is a cause that matters: helping local children and families move from sleeping on the floor to sleeping in a bed of their own.

Every team and every dollar raised helps furnish homes with the things families need to feel comfortable, settled and at home.

We’re grateful to have been part of a day that supports such important work in our community. ❤️

Every mile matters when the finish line is a future without childhood cancer. 💛

Throughout September, the CancerFree KIDS 100 Mile Challenge brought teams together to move, fundraise, and support childhood cancer research.

Our KBI team was proud to be part of it, logging 1,591.02 miles and raising $3,846.72 to help fund research that can give kids better treatments, better outcomes, and more birthdays.

We’re grateful to everyone who walked, ran, donated, and cheered us on. Every mile and every dollar helps move the fight against childhood cancer forward.

For a company that started around a kitchen table in 1998, we’re pretty proud of how far this little family business has come.

And while the cause is serious, the day is anything but. From wildly creative golf cart decorations to themed outfits, big laughs and a little friendly competition, these chix know how to have a good time for a great cause.
