These systems operate without sending combustion gases through a chimney. Instead, they're designed to draw in ambient air for fuel and release a safe amount of combustion gases back into the living space.

The biggest advantage? Versatility of installation. Vent-free gas logs can provide the traditional look and feel of vented gas logs without requiring a functioning chimney for exhaust.
