🌱 The Teaching Kitchen at the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Environmental Center was designed to support hands-on education, connection, and creativity. Integrated into the renovation and greenhouse addition, the space allows Girl Scouts to learn culinary skills, explore farm-to-table practices, and engage with sustainability in a meaningful way.

A great afternoon sharing the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland STEM Leadership Center with the design community. Bhakti led a tour of the award-winning facility, highlighting how thoughtful planning, efficient systems, and a strong connection to nature come together to support learning, creativity, and community use.

Grateful to the AIA Columbus Committee on Design for the opportunity to open our doors and share the story behind the project.
