Job Description:
Bi-City Burglar & Fire Alarm Company Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm/Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Columbus, GA. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. This role involves working with fire alarm systems, burglar alarms, camera systems, and network cabling. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, burglar alarms, camera systems, and install network cabling.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn and undergo training.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in fire alarm systems and low voltage systems (preferred but not required).
- Experience with a variety of fire alarm systems and brands (preferred but not required).
