I'll admit, I'm not good about keeping up with social media. I am going to try to make it more of a priority! This home designed by Melaragno Design Company, LLC is nearing completion in Evans Farm and is being built by The Bellepoint Company .

I was recently invited to visit a home I designed over 20 years ago, when I was just getting my own design business started, to see the new slate and copper roof that had just been installed. I remember my clients telling me that they wanted to build a home that everyone involved in creating could be proud of for years to come. The house was originally built with an asphalt shingle roof, even though we all agreed that slate would be ideal for this home, it just wasn't feasible at the time. Fast forward to today and this home has been renewed with her new roof and copper! To this day I am still proud to be the designer of this home. A lot of hands were involved in creating this house and I am pretty sure everyone feels the same as me.

One of my favorite areas of Columbus is the quaint community of Grandview Heights. Both my parents grew up in the area and I have many fond memories of visiting my grandparents there. So when Ryan Gruebmeyer () reached out to me and asked if I'd be interested in working with him to design a new home on an infill lot in Grandview for one of his clients, I jumped at the chance. I was happy that the owners wanted their new home to blend with this historic street. I love working on projects like this! I am really looking forward to seeing this new house become a home.

It's always an honor to be asked to design the builder's personal house. I had a lot of fun collaborating with Jenn and Sam, two of the owners of The Bellepoint Company, on their personal house that is currently under construction in Evans Farm.
