I know we’ve been saying it for a while- but we are getting very close to listing the farm for sale. The house is ready except for some touch up painting.

We have emptied 2 of the mud ponds. So the small fish that are for sale right now will be some of the last batches we offer. We are pleased with our progress as Koi breeders- and it is satisfying to see these latest babies. We have begun to sell some of the breeding Koi. Because so many people have been affected by the terrible KHV episode at some leading Koi farms in the southeast it is important that we make the following statement. All of our Koi fish are bred and raised on our own farm. All our breeder fish were bought between 7-10 years ago from certified farms. We do not allow any possible contamination from outside sources.
Fish we sell have been treated with Minnfinn Max after being caught in our mud ponds.

These water lily’s are blooming now. They have made large plants and are planted in 12” livestock feed pans. Come and get yours now - at $35 they are a real bargain!

We caught koi from the mud ponds this week. Some of these are not quite a year old yet. They average 8-10”! We are working on restocking plants that were hurt by the 14 degree cold snap- but most perennials were just fine.

Spring has sprung here in Upatoi more than once so far in 2022. Frost is expected to damage lots of tender growth on new foliage on otherwise hardy plants this weekend. Cover what you can during nighttime hours.

We caught too many fish! Regular fin Koi are buy one get one free and ready for your pond now. These fish are many colors and patterns- healthy and beautiful. We also have many butterfly or Long-fin Koi at our regular fair prices. Buy direct from the breeder and save $$$.
