Stay tuned for the dramatic refinish of the outside of this weathered cabin. Thereā€™s a complex process involved in maintaining log, and slab wood homes. Itā€™s not just about beauty, itā€™s also about routine maintenance and upkeep.
Follow along as we document the process of completely stripping back down to bare substrate for wood repair. Fungicidal cleaner, and mold cleaning. Resealing all windows, and openings. And repainting the chinking between beams. On this project we will be using 3M plastics, and tape to cover windows and vegetation,etc . The Wooster Brush Company for stain, and clear coat finishes application. And permachinksystems for sealants , and exterior finishes.
