Our team is showing their support by wearing orange and representing something bigger than just one company. The logo on these shirts brings together all the names, people, and history that make up our team - past and present.

Behind every work zone is a crew made up of sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. People with families counting on them to make it home safely.

We take pride in the work we do, but safety will always come first.

Slow down. Stay alert. Respect the zone.

🚧 National Work Zone Awareness Week 🚧

This week is about every crew working in our roadways performing striping, paving, concrete, utilities, traffic control, and more. The men and women out there aren’t just workers…they’re sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters.

At Griffin, Aero-Mark, and ARL, our teams are out there every day working alongside live traffic to keep roads safe and moving. We take pride in what we do, but we also rely on the public to do their part.

After a long winter, our Columbus and Fremont teams are officially out of hibernation and back at it.

We kicked off the 2026 season with our annual meeting. It's our way of bringing everyone together for training, information sessions, and a chance to recognize the hard work that drives this team forward. From time in the classroom to time around the trucks, it’s always a great way to get aligned before the season ramps up.

You’ll see a few snapshots here. Our Columbus crews in front of one of our many application trucks, team training moments, and some well-earned awards.

We’re proud of this group and the standard they set every year. Looking forward to a safe, productive, and successful 2026.

Big congratulations to Justin Wilt, our November Picture of the Month winner!

This photo pretty much sums up late-season striping in Ohio. Snow on the ground, a striper ready to roll, and a crew doing their best to answer the call. Even though the weather had other plans, we still showed up to try and take care of our customer.

Sometimes the job gets done… and sometimes you just get a great picture out of it 😄 Either way, it’s a good reminder of the dedication our crews bring every day.

Please join us in congratulating Joe Griffin on his induction into the Ohio Contractors Association Hall of Fame. An incredible and well-deserved honor.

This recognition celebrates a lifetime of service, leadership, and advocacy in the pavement marking and heavy highway industries. Joe’s dedication has shaped not only the Griffin organization, but the careers, livelihoods, and futures of countless teammates over the decades. His impact reaches far beyond the work we put on the ground as it lives in the opportunities he has created and the standards he has set for all of us.

We are profoundly grateful for the doors Joe has opened and the path he has paved. Griffin Pavement Striping exists as it does today because of his unwavering commitment to excellence and his belief in building a company where people can grow, succeed, and take pride in their work.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to his family. His wife Carolyn and daughters Sarah and Kate for their endless support throughout his remarkable career. Behind every great leader is a family that makes the journey possible.

🚧 Support Safer Work Zones - Back Ohio House Bill 82: The Trenton Gallaway Work Zone Safety Act 🚧

Every year, far too many road workers and motorists are injured or killed in construction zones across Ohio. House Bill 82, known as The Trenton Gallaway Work Zone Safety Act, is currently before the Ohio General Assembly and takes an important step toward protecting the men and women who build, stripe, and maintain our roadways.

This bill honors the memory of Trenton Gallaway, a 20-year-old Richland County Highway Department worker who tragically lost his life in 2024 after being struck by a vehicle while performing road maintenance.

The Trenton Gallaway Work Zone Safety Act advocates for increased education for new drivers and drivers committing offenses to raise awareness of work zone safety and also strengthens penalties for traffic offenses in construction zones, reinforcing the need for drivers to slow down, stay alert, and respect the people working just feet away from moving traffic.

At Griffin Pavement Striping, safety is at the core of who we are. Supporting HB 82 means supporting safer work environments, better education, stronger enforcement, and a clear message that every worker deserves to go home safe.

We encourage everyone in our industry, and anyone who travels Ohio’s roads, to contact your district representative and voice your support for this bill. Together, we can make a real difference in protecting our crews and communities.

Yesterday the Ohio Chapter gathered in Columbus for a roadway safety Advocacy Day. Joined by Michael and Jennifer Gallaway, chapter members met with 11 members of the Ohio House of Representatives to advocate for HB-82 - legislation honoring the Gallaway's son, Trenton Gallaway, who tragically lost his life while performing maintenance work in Richland County. His colorful fall entry highlighting crisp parking lot striping received the highest number of votes from his peers. 🏆

We had some fantastic submissions this month that truly showcased the wide range of work we perform every day - from recessed wet reflective thermoplastic, to airfield markings, to parking lots.
