Hey there! Just wanted to make a PSA to all future and current clients that when sending any money via venmo or paypal to not opt in for the "Purchase Protection" option before you send money. This is a large fee venmo takes from us. We, the contractor charge a specific amount in materials and deposits that we do not think Venmo needs a cut of. They claim its to protect the customers and that's all well and good but so do we. If for any reason you decide to cancel or change your mind, we will refund any paid material fully as well as partial balance of deposits. We do this to have your trust. You are trusting us to come in and do our best, it us our responsibility to ensure all SLVT customers are satisfied.
Moving forward, if any client chooses the option for protection purchase from Venmo, we unfortunately will have to have you pay the fee of 1.9% that they are charging. This way, you are paying for the protection and Venmo is not taking it from us.
