We always try for perfection. Sometimes it doesn’t happen right away, but being meticulous and time - we can accomplish what we set out to do.

Came back today to the walls of this garage experiencing ‘dry spots’ or the material soaked into the concrete - not allowing the flake to stick properly.
Didn’t happen on the two others last week, but for some reason it did yesterday.

However, you wouldn’t know that by the pictures today because of being meticulous and taking our time.

Another Metallic basement complete!

Here’s a 0:36 second video of how it came out. What’s not shown is the mechanical room. Had to work around 2 water heaters and a furnace with drainage pipe in a 100 sq ft room. A rather tight and detailed room….

I want to thank Nate for his solid prep work making sure he got off all the acrylic in that tight space.

What’s also not shown is the amount of pinholes that had to be filled. This slab, prior to basecoat, did appear to be tightly troweled. However, once we got the basecoat down they showed up! We spent 4-5 man hours just prepping and filling them in prior to applying the metallic coat.

A very important process between a basecoat and metallic coat. If skipped, outgassing can occur in the metallic coat causing holes across the entire floor.

Anyway, this video was taken prior to sanding and application of our polyurethane, satin sheen, topcoat.

Apply polyaspartic on a 1500 sq ft garage.

Polyaspartics have a limited amount of working time before they start curing and make it difficult on the installer. Here in the video you see we have a system in place to ensure that we have no problems installing it.

What is great about this polyapsartic topcoat is the return to service time.

Walk on it and set light items the next morning.
Heavy items and drive on it the morning after next.

Extremely durable
Easy to clean

What’s today? Thursday. All this water reminds me of a past project we never shared. A meeting place in a small town south of Columbus.

This basement flooded and had a lot of the tiles floating. Fortunately for the client, they were looking for a reason to replace the old tile.

Why epoxy?

▪️Easy to clean
▪️Durable against chairs/tables
▪️Decorative options

When we showed up we thought we had our work cut out for us. Instead it was just another day on a project… we invest in the right equipment and have the hustle.

3 days: 1 for prep and repair, 1 for epoxy, 1 for polyaspartic. 2 guys, 1500 feet.

Client walks on it the 4th day and ready open for meetings.
