Join me and a select group of industry executives on 1st June 2022 | 11:30am EST at MeettheBoss event as we discuss the challenges with digital and cloud transformation journeys, as well as how to utilize the right technologies to ensure resilience, scalability, and security.

Digital transformation is pushing companies out of their comfort zones and causing them to change and adapt to the ever-growing digital world. According to a recent Gartner report, “driven by cloud, digitalization, and the pandemic, enterprises are adopting new networking technologies faster than ...

Edge computing and cloud computing are two very different things. One does not replace the other. But too many articles confuse IT pros by suggesting that edge computing will displace cloud computing. It’s no truer than saying PCs would displace the datacenter.

The tech press predicted that edge computing would displace cloud computing, but public cloud powerhouses deliver much of today’s edge computing.

With more people working from home, nearly two-thirds of respondents (64%) said they will shift toward a SASE-based (Secure Access Service Edge platform) approach over the course of the coming year to provide secure access to cloud applications over a software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN).

Aryaka survey showed how a shift to the cloud at this rate and level of scale are likely to have a profound impact on DevOps teams.

A composable enterprise, defined by Gartner as “an organization that delivers business outcomes and adapts to the pace of business change”, relies on the assembly of interchangeable application building blocks. This architectural overhaul has largely been driven by a demand for more configurable application experiences, and the need to evolve existing application portfolios that are often too risky and costly to replace.

The cloud has matured to the point where customers often don’t think about the underlying infrastructure, service levels or debate the merits of on-premises versus cloud; instead, they are increasingly cloud-first. In fact, December of 2021 marked Amazon Web Services (AWS) marked its tenth AWS re:Invent conference—the company’s annual conference for customers and partners. This article reflects upon top 3 trends that I am following this year.

Techstrong Research's Dan Kirsch highlights three critical cloud trends he'll be tracking (and that you should watch, too) in 2022.

Does cloud makes Enterprise Architecture easy of complex? It’s interesting to find out how EA evolved and create value for IT operations in modern times.

Traditionally, the role of IT operations has been to keep apps and systems running well for the business. But in the era of cloud, DevOps and disruptive

Infrastructure automation is key to get success on cloud. The article summarizes the benefits offered and intimidation posed by cloud tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform. Nice read for folks who are on their cloud journey.

Whether studying for an AWS certification or increasing your general knowledge of the many AWS services, there is no substitute for hands-on experience. I give the following advice to my clients who are trying to increase to their level of in-house expertise on the AWS: put your engineers behind the

In late June, California passed A.B. 375, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, a sweeping piece of legislation that, on its face, grants California residents data privacy rights that have never before been granted in the United States. The law was driven by recent privacy scandals and the political pressure of a potential privacy rights ballot initiative that advocates agreed to drop in lieu of the passage of A.B.
