The mission of the Home Preservation Program is to assist Columbus homeowners in the preservation, repair, and maintenance of houses 50 years old and older. The program offers resources to help homeowners preserve the unique architectural character of their older homes, while making them more comfortable with energy efficient repairs and upgrades. Guides and assists homeowners on repair and renova

tion projects - free, impartial consultation on appropriate repairs, materials and ongoing maintenance. Provides access to reduced home improvement loans through partnership with ECO-Link (Energy Conservation for Ohioans Program). Supports Columbus homeowners in improving their energy efficiency through projects that may include doors/windows, roofing/siding, insulation/duct sealing/weather stripping, HVAC, Energy Star rated appliances, renewable energy products, and more! The Home Preservation Program builds lasting partnerships with property owners that benefit their neighborhoods.

The product used to strip brick in our video is Sure Klean Heavy Duty Paint Stripper by Prosoco. Keep in mind it took several times to remove all the paint. Follow with a very gentle low pressure water wash.
