Foraged & Sown is a work of adventurous urban food production. We aim to share fresh flavors - some you know well and some you've yet to experience. Our dual focus on cultivated and foraged produce allows us to bring a broad range of herbs, fruits, greens and roots to the Clintonville and Bexley Farmers’ Markets. We minimize food waste and create business sustainability by drying harvested herbs f

or processing into teas and salt blends. In 2017 Foraged & Sown cultivated produce became certified organic. We are building a system of high-quality annual and perennial herbs, berries and nuts in our gardens while enriching the earth with organic practices in the North Linden neighborhood of Columbus Ohio. Our foraging ethic follows Leave No Trace principles and leans heavily on research and monitoring for each crop harvested to ensure true sustainability.

The entire main crew was out today, and we got more than halfway through the new greenhouse build before breaking for dinner and market prep. The teens did some amazing work including using the Pythagorean theorem, using power tools, and reading and following building instructions independently. They are so capable and valued!

Mary will see you all tomorrow morning at 9-noon while the rest of us get this house finished, pot up tomatoes, shuffle seedlings, and restock teas!

Big day at the farm today!
After seeding 40+ flats of calendula and tomatoes, we accepted delivery of another seedling house. Just in time!!!

Thanks to for supporting growers in Franklin county as we strive to do all we can for our community.

More growing space = even more food-producing plants for Central Ohio!!!

Shout out to our delivery driver, Dan, and those pallet-moving skills. Enjoy the Sage plant!
