My house is constantly in a state of creative transformation. And by my house I mean the structure I live in as well as the place deep inside that houses my spirit & soul. Decades ago when I met my husband I had just labored through a huge life transformation in finding myself after graduating college, healing myself of past trauma after working with a therapist and overcoming an eating disorder. One night while talking into the wee hours of the morning I shared my story in the image of a house. My now husband was so moved by my story he wrote me a beautiful song he titled “In My House” that quickly became a crowd fav when played out live with his band. It’s now come full circle as life would have it as he’s been working on a handful of his beloved songs to release June 17th in tandem with me as I embark on a redesign & concept of my website.

God works in such magnificent mind blowing mysterious ways doesn’t He?!

I’m so honored that you join me in this space. I love sharing stories & weaving my everyday experiences into words and images in hopes of inspiring hearts, spreading hope and helping people.

I hope you’ll join me on my journey. Join in the conversation. And know that you’re not alone in this thing called life. We each have hardships and heartaches and we need each other as we work our way through.

So stay tuned for a music release and new website in which I hope you’ll pull up a chair and stay awhile and know that you’re always welcome “In My House.”

Throughout my life birds have always been such special little messengers of Gods love and presence but as of late, it’s especially been hummingbirds that speak to my heart & soul. It’s a transitional season of life right now as we prepare to become empty nesters as summer comes to a close. Sprinkle in struggles, heartaches, fears and uncertainties and life has become a somewhat tricky path to walk. But God is Mighty. God is Good. God is Constant. And God is ALWAYS sending help. Whether it be through a sunrise or sunset, a friends encouragement, a sweet little bird or even a lifeboat. God is Here. We just need to be still long enough to really see & really listen. I walked outside to sit and pray and just look what I captured the exact moment I opened the door. So today I slow down and pay attention and I’m here to tell you it’s an amazing feeling. Join me in relishing the little blessings that God is sending each and every one of us each and every day. ❤️
