Helpful tips for hiring a tree company....

1. Don't pay upfront! Only scammers will ask for money before the job is complete. Professionals will only charge after the job is completed.

2. Use known local tree services with solid reputations and the referrals that back them up.

3. Make sure that the person you choose is experienced and capable of the job that you want done, and have the equipment to take on your job!

4. Make sure they are insured for tree work! A lot of landscapers and lawn services try bidding on tree jobs that their insurance policies do not cover!

Scammers are at their peak after a large storm. Do not hire just some guy knocking at your door because he seen your tree damage and wants to make a quick buck. Don't pay anything upfront and be sure any work is complete before paying anyone! Remember, if you hire them and they are not legit and get hurt on your property, you could be responsible!

There are a number of reputable tree services in our area , please use one of them before hiring a guy coming from an hour away (again to make a quick buck).
