This long crested weir and many other water control infrastructure changes have been installed over winter. This will add huge efficiency and capacity to our irrigation system. More improvements to come that should last generations.

Thick fog has come back last few hunts. Hasn’t seemed to bother the hunting one bit. It’s looking like the big groups of teal are back on the club in addition to lots of others.

We also were able to host some new hunters this week (congrats to Donna on her first bird ever) and also congrats to member Wayne on a very aged Ross’s goose taken in blind 5.

We’re excited but also sad as we head to the finish line on a really fun season!

We hosted a great lad from New Zealand this past weekend ! Here is Eben with his fist pintail and gadwall !

Overall it was a really fun weekend and The entire club had some great shoots. We were able to do a bbq and eat some great tacos as well, while enjoying some of the many playoff football games this weekend!

About a month long stretch of this high layer of fog is about as long as I can remember for this weather to hang around. It’s been a fun time but I think we’re ready for a weather change.

We had some fun visitors this week from Minnesota who came out to experience Californias finest while they are snowed in back at home.
